In April of 2009, the name of this department will be changed from Mechanical Design Engineering to Computer Applied Design.
“Educating mechanical engineers with creativity
and common' sense”
Now and in the future, there will be a greater demand for engineers with a better understanding of both humans and the environment. Engineers can no longer just think of the “how” but will also have to think of the “why” and the “for whom.” Our goal is to help students understand themselves and find their place in this interesting field of mechanical engineering.
“Practical curriculum training the intellect and personality”
Creating plastic models is an approach we use that allows the designer to check the functionality of a design based on sound mechanics and common sense. We offer practical, hands-on courses that provide ample exercises, experimentation, and training to prepare students for the global market. Our goal is to educate mechanical engineers that are familiar with computers, have a global viewpoint, and have the common sense to make sound, practical decisions.
