Education and Research
The CIER is primarily responsible for the international exchange of students and staff for educational and research purposes. Our goal is to globalize education and research in the field of engineering by creating a World Campus among SIT and its partner universities and businesses from around the world. The CIER also assists foreign students make the adjustment to life in Japan. In addition, we assist students in finding internships. We also arrange for international summit meetings and academic conferences. Our staff understands that it is not always easy for a student to travel to a foreign country and live for an extended period of time. Although we cannot assist with everything that is involved with adjusting to a foreign culture, we want prospective students to know that we will do everything in our power to assist you with the whole application process and adjusting to life in Japan.
