通信や画像の数学的理論に関する研究

情報工学分野における符号理論の研究を行っています。符号理論は通信の際に生じる雑音を訂正するための符号化に関する数学的理論です。数学を使い、符号化の観点から情報の本質に迫ることが目標です。また、生体認証などの画像認識やそれらの教育工学への応用にも取り組んでいます。
